As one of those people who depend on experience to properly learn in depth (how I got through the IB in a UWC I don't know..), I have always dreamed of and, secretly, planned on doing lots of internships.
Sometimes, when the days get rough, I escape into the tough, but fabulous universe of my alter ego, Farrah. She is the assistent of the world's most famous interior designer, Rebecca Rader, and has a walk-in closet that mysteriously resembles Carrie Bradshaw's...
Point being, after having spent my Christmas holiday inside (in freakin' Qatar!) writing applications, I unbelievably managed to get the most amazing internship ever! A few days after having sent my (15) applications I did my first round of terrorising people's answering machines and a short while later, I got an email saying ..
...It would be great to have you "following" us around for 2 weeks. (we thought your voice mail was very sweet and funny). Because my husband is an architect -students get to see both disciplines...

I mean, come'on! The amazing Jeanne Finnerty went on to tell me that a couple of friends of theirs wanted me to stay with them while I was in Boston, and also, she would try and get me in with Wells and Fox for a day or two! I still can not believe how lucky I've been.
Anyways, I'll be getting in the air in a couple of days, and I just wanted to let all my (5?) readers know that I'll be updating my blog at least once a day for the next month. Boston, here I come! Also, NKF wanted to make a student portrait of me, which is fun.

Congrats! That's super exciting
