We're doing an individual assignement at school where we're doing the interior of a small, three storey terraced house (a huge project). I've been reading up on how to efficiently use space and I came across this amazing example.
This appartment has been adapted to fit a part-time parent and his two kids. The huge thing in the middle is a multi-functional island. It contains a pull-out bed and table, space for kitchen appliances and lots more storing space. It is used as an eating area, work-space, kitchen bench... You name it! I'm going to learn how to use space like this, but with traditional design as opposed to modern. It'll probably take me a lifetime. Pictures are not great, but they were the only ones I could find.

It looks like it'd be a nice place to live! I love interior design but never designed it.. Great work!! xo akiko

That island is pretty amazing - let us know how your project goes. I'd love to see the design
ReplyDeleteThat would be amazing! I definitely need to learn how to use space more efficiently in apartments!
ReplyDeleteWhite on white spaces are so gorge but sadly, we cannot partake...I am confident they would get trashed.
