This year I celebrated Christmas with my entire family for the first time in 5 years. 5 years ago I fell in love and spent Christmas on an island outside Kenya. The next year parts of my family and I went to Sweden to spend Christmas together in our cabin there, but my oldest brother couldn't join us. The last two years I've spent Christmas with my boyfriend in India and Thailand. But finally, this Christmas and New Year, we all managed to accumulate in Doha, Qatar where my parents currently live. It's been such a wonderful time and I'm going to miss everyone so much when I go home to Bergen in a couple of days. I'm already counting the days, hours, minutes for all of us to be together again. I can't wait to hang out with my brother's at a bar, explore the souq with my younger cousins and aunt, feel my mother's love and wrestle my father. I love you all.
Also, on a more designer friendly note, I think I've found the ultimate dream house. As you might have guessed, travelling is a neccessity to me, and this eclectic home with all it's little trinkets, is as close to perfection as it gets to me.
